Why does your phone overheat?
Basically, it depends on the CPU (Central Processing Unit) and the Battery. When charging, your phone may get hotter because, Li-ion batteries heat themselves simultaneously.
Constantly high CPU usage is mostly the
reason why your phone overheats. Some
apps tend to use the CPU for a very long
time in the background, which causes
your phone to produce excessive heat.
★Why does my phone get so hot?
It’s normal for your phone to get hot when
you are using complicated apps, watching video clips, or while you recharge it as I noticed. In such cases, just put your phone somewhere cool and ventilated, and the temperature should drop soon.
If you have installed lots of apps which are useless, just remove them to reduce the cpu usage. Also, if you rerely use them and if you don't want to remove/uninstall them, you can stop apps from auto starting to prevent them from using the CPU for their processes. (root required for some reasons)
